Welcome to our website. We breed and show health-tested and sound Rough Collies of the original British type.
We're based in South East Wales, close to Bristol and Cardiff. There are Vycaran Collies in England, Scotland, and Wales.
We raise our puppies using Puppy Culture and are a Puppy Culture approved breeder, following a bespoke socialisation and rearing programme that is giving us proven fantastic results - happy, healthy, bombproof puppies!
At Vycaran we believe that the greatest impact on a dog's wellbeing happens before they're even conceived. The second greatest takes place in those vital few months before a pup leaves for their new home! It should therefore be the duty of any breeder to put their puppies' happiness and wellbeing before all else. Then, the best breeders can work on the traits that make our breed, our favourite!
As a result, we select only pairings that won't produce genetic disease, with both parents being of sound body, construction, and mind. With each litter, we also strive to produce Collies that meet our breed standard, and will have the beauty and elegance that's inspired generations of enthusiasts. We've studied the breed inside and out for almost a decade to get here, our lives devoted to our beloved Collies. No effort is spared when it comes to our girls and their babies. That's why Vycaran Collies are raised with heart!
